When you think of Goa the first thing that comes to your mind is the serenely beautiful bluish sea and the exotic beaches. Obviously the food then has to be related to sea. By saying this it means that this tiny state of India is famous for the exquisite sea food. Local dishes are mostly of fish and other sea food such as crab, lobsters, octopus, etc.and all of them seem to have a bit of foreign touch. Goan dishes are made of coconut, coconut milk, local spices, chilies, ginger, etc. The most important and popular food is fish.
